Welcome to the RCF's Outreach Programs and P&G Cincinnati MLB Youth Academy Home

The Reds Community Fund (RCF) is dedicated to improving the lives of youth by leveraging the tradition of the Cincinnati Reds and the game of baseball. Since its inception in 2001, the Community Fund has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball-themed outreach efforts. The P&G Cincinnati MLB Youth Academy offers free, year-round baseball and softball training facility for boys and girls ages 4 -18 residing primarily in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky urban neighborhoods.

The Academy was established in 2009 and operated for five years at a temporary location in conjunction with Cincinnati Public Schools. On August 22, 2014, the Reds Community Fund celebrated the grand opening of the current Academy, the state-of-the-art, 33,000-square-foot Joey Votto Training Center. The indoor facility serves as the home to all Reds Community Fund outreach programs, including free fall and winter clinics and activities. The complex also features four renovated ballfields, including two synthetic infields and one stadium field that serves as the home to Walnut Hills and Purcell Marian High Schools. Included is an official girls' fast pitch championship diamond.
