Join the growing Cincinnati Reds Nike RBI program for the 2025-2026 season. RBI aims to boost participation and interest in baseball and softball among underserved youth, promoting involvement in the Academy and encouraging academic achievement. Our teams will practice and compete at elite level with opportunities to play in college after graduating from the program.

Whether you are a returning RBI player, a new player, or someone with interest in baseball or softball - we welcome you to register for tryouts for the upcoming season of Reds Nike RBI baseball and softball!

Tryout Information: 

All tryouts will take place on Field 4 at the Reds Youth Academy (2026 E. Seymour Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45237). Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the tryout times listed below.

Please note: Ages are as of 8/31/2025

Dates and Times: 

16U Tryouts (Coach Chip Roper, Class B) - July 17 & 19 @ 6pm 

**You only have to attend ONE tryout date

Please remember to bring your own equipment, including a glove, bat and helmet. All participants must wear gym shoes, rubber molded cleats, or turf shoes. Please bring your own water bottle. And most importantly, bring a great attitude! The tryout process can be long and tedious, so we appreciate everyone's patience in advance.
