Join the growing Cincinnati Reds Nike RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program for the 2026-2027 season. RBI aims to boost participation and interest in baseball and softball among underserved youth, promoting involvement in the Academy and encouraging academic achievement. Our teams will practice and compete at an elite level with opportunities to play in college after graduating from the program.

Whether you are a returning RBI player, a new player, or someone with interest in baseball or softball - we welcome you to register for tryouts for the upcoming season of Reds Nike RBI baseball and softball!

Tryout Dates & Field Location:
Tryouts will begin at 6:30pm / Please arrive by 6:00pm to check-in at field 4
The Reds Youth Academy is located at 2026 E. Seymour Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45237


16U Tryouts (Cannot turn 17 prior to August 31, 2026)
2 teams - Class B and Class B/C
July 27 (Class B), July 28 (Class B), August 3 (Class B/C), August 5 (Class B/C)

*Please note that you may attend as many tryout dates as you like - however, you are NOT required to attend all dates.

Please remember to bring your own equipment, including a glove, bat, and helmet. All participants must wear gym shoes, rubber molded cleats, or turf shoes. Please bring your own water bottle. And most importantly, bring a great attitude! The tryout process can be long and tedious, so we appreciate everyone's patience in advance.
